The Negotiator

Someone states a position in a negotiation, debate, or dispute. Four possible responses are offered — only one is the strongest, most logically sound counter. Choose wisely.

Example — Salary Negotiation
"We can't offer more — everyone on the team is paid this rate."
"That's unfair, I deserve more than everyone."
"I understand the team rate, but my role now includes responsibilities beyond the original scope — can we discuss that specifically?"
"Fine, I'll just accept it then."
"Other companies pay more for the same job title."
